Is Monarch a video curriculum?
Monarch lessons are mainly text-based, with short videos, audio, and interactive material. Families seeking a teacher-led video class should use the trial to check whether this lesson format suits their student.
Does automatic grading replace the parent?
No. AOP describes approximately 85% automatic grading. Parents still oversee the homeschool program, review progress, and handle work that requires their judgment. Try a writing assignment as well as an automatically graded lesson during the trial.
Is Monarch an accredited online school?
No. Monarch supplies curriculum and management tools; it does not enroll your child in an accredited school. If teacher-managed instruction and school-issued credentials are priorities, compare a school program with a parent-managed curriculum before deciding.
How can I tell whether Monarch fits my child?
During the trial, assign a lesson in a familiar subject and one in a subject your child finds challenging.
